I think if I had a good idea of how blogs should begin, I would have started one of my own a long time ago... getting over that initial bump of declaring "This is the purpose of my blog and what I intend to contribute to the interwebs!" has been insurmountable to me with regard to my own blog (hence, if you were to visit http://benjino.blogspot.com you would see a lot of nothing). I could have asked for help from Melanie on that particular point, since her blog at http://melaniehess.blogspot.com is updated pretty regularly, but who wants to be found asking for help like that?
For this blog, however, that's an easy obstacle to overcome--its purpose is to keep anyone who's interested in following it up-to-date on the adventures of the various members of the Hess Family; the whole Mess of Hesses.
